Romania ranks 1st in Europe when it comes of TV programs’ consumption, with Romanians watching TV on average 5 hours and 30 minutes per day, according to a Médiamétrie study quoted by Mediafax.
According to the study “Une année de télévision dans le monde”, the daily average TV consumption posted a new record on international level, with viewers watching TV on average 3 hrs and 17 mins a day, 1 minute more compared to 2011.
Globally, Europe had the highest growth, of 7 minutes, with European average in TV watching being of 3 hrs and 55 minutes per day.
Romania holds the European record when it comes of TV programs’ consumption (5hrs 30mins per person per day), followed by Greece (4hrs 33mins), and Spain (4hrs 6 mins).
