Pro TV bought some of the broadcasting rights for Europa League for 2012-2015 period, according a press release posted on UEFA’s website.
Sport.ro will broadcast one game a week and the games that have Romanian team Steaua as a protagonist will be broadcasted by Pro TV, Digi Spot and Dolce Sport.
The rest of the broadcasting options are owned by RCS&RDS and Romtelecom, as they did a common offer to buy the games’ broadcasting rights and can both screen them.
During last 3 years, Pro TV owned the rights to broadcast the games from Europa League.
In April, Romtelecom and RCS & RDS also brought the broadcasting rights for Champions League games, for three seasons (2012 – 2015)
