Romanian TV stations Naşul TV, Transilvania Live and Look TV are among the TV stations that entered on must carry list, that must be retransmitted for free by all cable providers.
CNA approved a list with 26 commercial TV stations, ordered by audience, that are free for retransmission. The list will be mandatory starting February 1st, with cable providers needing to make the changes in term of 30 days starting the mentioned date.
The channels that are out from the must carry list in 2013 compared to last year are Trinitas, Mynele, DDTV, Alfa Omega, The Money Channel, Speranţa TV and Top 1.
The must carry list for 2013 include: Pro TV, Antena 1, Kanal D, Antena 3, Prima TV, Realitatea TV, Naţional TV, B1 TV, Romania TV, OTV, Antena 2, Favorit TV, Taraf TV, Kiss TV, Euforia, GSP TV, Naţional 24 Plus, U TV, Music Channel, TV Neptun, Naşul TV, Transilvania Live, Look TV, Hit Music, TVH2O, Inedit TV. Adding to these are the public channels TVR 1, TVR 2, TVR 3, TVR News and its regional stations, but also TV5.
The regional stations on must carry list are West TV (Arad), N1 TV (Bistrita Nasaud), TV Buzau (Buzau), MDI TV (Dambovita), Antena 1 (Ialomita), Axa TV Maramures, eMaramures TV, Nord TV (Maramures), Erdely TV (Mures), Est TV (Neamt) TeleMoldova Plus (Neamt), Olt TV (Olt), Valea Prahovei TV (Prahova), Informatia TV (Satu Mare), Realitatea TV Banat (Timis), TVT 89 (Timis).
