The first places in TV rankings for 2012 were disputed by Pro TV (most watched TV), Antena 1, Antena 3 and Kanal D.
At urban level, Top 3 included Pro TV, Antena 1 and Antena 3, both for the full day interval, but also considering the average audiences in prime time.
At national level, the first three channels in 2012 were Pro TV, Antena 1 and Kanal D.
In 2012, the most watched TV station was Pro TV, with 1.5M viewers every minute, from which 800,000 living in urban areas. Second position was, during evenings, occupied by Antena 1, with 900,000 viewers (500,000 in urban areas).
At national level, top 3 is completed, for the evening, by Kanal D. At urban level, Antena 3 occupies 3 rd position.
In Prime time, Antena 3 was the most watched news channel, with 492,000 viewers per minute during evening, from which 347,000 living in urban areas. On the same news segment, Realitatea TV had better scores at national level, while B1 had better results in towns.
Worst scores in prime time were posted by Look TV, Transilvania Live, TV H2 O, Giga TV and Hit Music.
When it comes of audience on the entire day, Pro TV and Antena 1 were the most viewed channels. Pro TV had 630,000 viewers each minute (334,000 in urban areas), while Antena was watched by 475,000 (264,000 in urban areas). Third place was occupied by Antena 3 for urban audiences and by Kanal D for national level.
Considering the entire day, the top of the news channels is topped by Antena 3 (269,000 viewers per minute, 187,000 in urban areas), Realitatea TV (143,000, 77,000 urban), B1 TV (95,000 and 62,000 urban) and Romania TV (92,000 and 59,000 - urban).
