Romanian Senate’s Culture Commission rejected Victor Socaciu’s project that was aiming to introduce, in the Audiovisual Law, an article that aimed to forbid the usage of patrimony goods such as Romanian Athenaeum in TV commercials.
In his motivation, Victor Socaciu said when he submitted the proposal that the cultural patrimony goods such as Romanian Athenaeum or an old Romanian carol are used “abusively” in commercials.
Socaciu’s project isn’t the 1st one to be rejected. Two years ago, he came up with the proposal to dub all TV movies, a proposal that was also rejected.
