Printed press continued to have its sales dropping dramatically, according to recent data published by BRAT (October-December 2012). Romanian tabloids Click! and Libertatea continue to be leaders in sales, leaving far behind the sports publications and the quality ones
Click! continues to be in the top of the most sold publications in Romania, with average sales of 138,000 copies per edition for the analyzed period. The tabloid has the most serious decline compared to the last quarter of 2011, of 16,000 copies
Libertatea is the 2nd publication in Romania in terms of sales, with 91,000 copies per edition.
In the quality newspapers top, România Liberă continues to lead, although it posted serious declines in sales: 25,000 copies sold per edition in October – December, 11,000 less than during the same period of 2011.
During the last quarter in 2012, Adevarul was down to 14,300 copies sold, less then Evenimentul zilei (14,400).
