Adevarul Digital Media, that was the employer firm for most of Adevarul Holding’s employes, entered insolvency following a request of 11 people from Forbes Romania’s team.
CII Mihaela Lupu was appointed ad interim judicial administrator and will be paid RON 2,000 from debtor’s money, according to a decision made by Bucharest Court, on April 12th . The term for continuing the procedure was established for September 20th, and the decision can be attacked in justice in 7 days since it was pronounced.
In October 2012, the licence for Forbes Romania magazine was taken over by Raluca Badea, former publisher of magazines division at Adevarul Holding, after the press trust decided to close the publication. At that point, magazine’s employes had still to receive 2 restant salaries and a compensatory one each.
