Realitatea Media demands Romantica Television’s insolvency, a company that has the broadcasting licence for Romantica TV station, according to a file registered with Bucharest Court, DailyBusiness.ro writes.

Romantica TV was, in the past, part of the same group with Realitatea TV. Starting December 1 st 2012, Romantica transformed into Film Cafe.

In December 2010, Chello Zone took over the main shares package in Romantica from group – 49% - and became 100% owner of the TV. Zone Romantica is an international soap operas channel launched in 1998 by the British company Chello Zone. In April 2007, the TV was relaunched in Romania by Realitatea Media.
