Pro TV, Acasă, ProCinema and Sport.ro cease to be retransmitted, starting September 9th, in Focus Sat network, according to an announcement made by the TV stations. The reason is that the 2 companies couldn’t agree over the retransmission contract.
Focus Sat is UPC’s sattelite TV service and has almost 300,000 subscribers.
“Focus Sat didn’t agreed the conditions for renewal demanded by PRO TV S.A. for the retransmission contract covering the channels in company’s portfolio. ProTV, Acasa TV, Pro Cinema, Acasa Gold, sport.ro, ProTV International will not be available anymore in Focus Sat’s DTH retransmission system starting September 9th”.
