Radio Kiss Fm is leader in audiences in urban areas, while Radio Zu remains the most listened in Bucharest, according to the most recent radio audience study, made between March 29th – August 18th, by IMAS and GfK.
In Bucharest, Radio Zu is the most listened (257.500, down 14.200 compared to last summer), while Kiss FM follows, with 197,000 listeners, over 60.000 less compared to Zu’s results.
In urban areas, Kiss FM is leader, with 1.6M listeners, down 200,000 compared to 2012’s summer. Still, the station is 480,000 listeners ahead the 2nd ranked, Radio Romania Actualitati.
The top of the most listened radio stations in urban areas in unchanged compared to last summer: Kiss FM (1.605.900 listeners), Radio Romania Actualitati (1.122.500) and Radio ZU (1.116.300).
All central radios posted a decline in audiences at urban level, ranging from 20.000 to over 200.000 listeners. The highest losses in audience were for Kiss FM (- 211.100), Radio Romania Actualitati (- 163.800) and Radio ZU (- 135.900).
Most radios had decreases in audiences compared to last summer, with only 2 exceptions: Radio Guerrilla (+1.700) and National FM (+7.900).
The steepest decline was for Radio Romania Actualitati (- 39.800), followed by Magic FM (- 32.000) and Vibe FM (- 28.000).
Only 6 radios are listened in Bucharest by over 100,000people: Radio ZU, Kiss FM, Radio România Actualităţi, Pro FM, Europa FM and Magic FM.
