Romanian state news agency Agerpres organizes, for the 1st time in Romania, the conference of the Associatin of Balkans State Press Agencies (ABNA-SE).
The annual event, that reached its 22nd edition, will take place in Sibiu, on December 8-11, according to an Agerpres press release.
Agerpres is part of the association since 1995, the year when the organization was founded.
The conference is attended only by state news agencies from South-Eastern Europe.
Over 30 representatives will attend the event as representatives of ANA-MPA (Greece), ANADOLU (Turkey), ATA (Albania), BTA (Bulgaria), CNA (Cyprus), HINA (Croatia), MIA (Macedonia), SRNA and FENA (Bosnia & Hertzegovina), TANJUG (Serbia), and STA (Slovenia).
The debate theme for Sibiu event will focus on “The connexion between social media and Press agencies”, but will also approach matters related to the main problems news agencies have and the future common projects they will initiate within the association.
