The American group CME is testing the possibility to sell the companies and brands it owns in Romania, Romanian journalist Cătălin Tolontan writes on his blog.
Incipient discussions are being conducted with more companies; Pro TV is subject of discussions with RCS&RDS and Turks from Dogan, that own Kanal D in Romania.
According to CME estimates, Pro TV’s sell could bring the group around Euro 150-200M.
„Buftea Studios are also for sale, with Cristian Burci being the main favorite, after he bought Prima TV and as he wants to consolidate a production base to service more TVs”, Tolontan also wrote on his blog.
When it comes of ProFM and InfoPro, the last very attractive as it has a national broadcasting licence, they seem to be interesting for Sebastian Ghita and for Ringier
