Pavel Stanchev, that managed in the past HBO Romania and Kanal D, will become, starting February 1st, manager over CME (Pro TV’s mother company)’s operations in Bulgaria, as announced in the international press.
He replaces Vicky Politova, that will leave the company in the end of January.

Pavel Stanchev has over 20 years of experience in media in Central and Eastern Europe. Starting 2013, he was executive director of Greek group Antenna in the South East area and managed more TV stations in Serbia, Montenegru and Slovenia. Between 2004 – 2008, he was CEO at Nova Televizia Bulgaria. He was also Managing Director at HBO Romania, RTL Croatia and Kanal D Romania.
This is one of the many changes CME underwent since Adrian Sarbu left from company’s leadershioo in August 2013.
In November 2013, Anca Budinschi, general manager Pro TV, was replaced by the Lithuanian Aleksander Cesnavicius. During the same month, Ciprian Stancu, Sales director in charge for 6 countries within CME, announced leaving the company starting December 1st.
