Paramount Channel, movie TV owned by Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), launched on Romanian audiovisual market and is available on Digi sattelite platform owned by RCS&RDS, but also in the offer of smaller cable operators, according to sources in the media market quoted by Mediafax.
Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) is a Viacom Inc. Division operating at international level also MTV, Nickelodeon VH1 and Comedy Central Extra channels.
Paramount Channel was launched internationally in 2012, in Spain, a year later it entered the French market and, in the first part of the current year, it started broadcasting also in Russia and Hungary.
Viacom and RCS&RDS didn’t officially communicate the launch of Paramount Channel in Digi’s programs schedule, the DTH (Direct to Home) platform from RCS.
