Romanian Radio Society (SRR) had revenues of over Euro 48M from the radio tax and of Euro 814.000 from advertising in 2013, according to public radio’s activity report, quoted by Mediafax.
Romanian Public Radio ended 2013 with a net profit of Euro 1.2M, after it had, last year, a total turnover of Euro 93M, according to the activity report.
The income from radio tax were of Euro 45M (representing 49% from the total income of Public Radio), down compared to 2012 (Euro 46M).
The Public Radio also received Euro 43M from the state budget, money the institution used to pay radiocommunication services received from National Society for Radiocommunications.
SRR attracted advertising budgets of Euro 822.138, up 32,2% compared to 2012 (Euro 621,765).
On the other hand, last year, the Public Radio had total expenses of Euro 91M, from which Euro 31M were expenses with its employees .
