Romanian tabloids Click and Libertatea are among the most sold publications, while Gazeta ranks 3rd. Quality newspapers don’t seem to manage to surpass 13,000 copies sold per edition.
How much the main Romanian newspapers sold in Q1?
Click had, in Q1, average sales of almost 120,000 copies per edition, down 21,000 copies compared to the same period in 2013. Libertatea went down to 77.000 copies from 89.000 in Q1 2013, while Gazeta Sporturilor had, in the same period, 26.600 copies sold per edition.
Evenimentul zilei is the most sold quality newspaper, with an average of 13.500 copies per edition, seconded by Jurnalul National (10.300).
The steepest decrease among quality newspapers was posted by Romania Libera, that reached to 9,000 copies sold per edition, 12,000 less compared to Q1 2013.
