Starcom MediaVest Group was designated Media Network of the Year at Cannes Lions 2014 and, until now, the network received 34 awards and 120 nomination in this year’s edition of the competition.
It received the title after it won 3 Silvers, 9 Bronze and 14 nominations in Media Lions at network’s level. The winning campains were developed for clients like Bank of America, Esurance, Heineken and Samsung.
The condition to get the title were more strict than previously as, once with changing the name of the prize from Media Agency of the Year Award to Media Network of the Year, the eligibility criteria were changed also.
Media Network of the Year is awarded to the network that gathers most points in Media Lions category, where only media agencies can enter campaigns
The win comes less than 2 weeks since Starcom MediaVest Group received Most Effective Agency şi Most Effective Agency Network at North American Effie Awards Gala. In April, SMG was awarded Agency Network of the Year at Media Global Awards
