The controversial Paula Iacob, the lawyer of well-known Nutu Camataru, ranks first in the top of female public figures with the highest number of presences in TV studios, for the second consecutive month. In June, Paula Iacob had 18 presences in TV studios, most on Romania TV station, up from 15 in May.
PSD Senator Ecaterina Andronescu went up from 6th place in May to 2nd in June, with 14 presences, while Andreea Pora ranks third, with 13 appearances. Next in ranks are Monica Tatoiu (11), PDL representative Adriana Saftoiu (10), Gabriela Vranceanu Firea (9), Alina Gorghiu and Sulfina Barbu (8 each).
When it comes of most visible male public figures, the top is headed by Bogdan Chirieac (34 presences), followed by Mugur Ciuvica (27), sociologist Marius Pieleanu (22), PNL member Victor Ciorbea (19), Val Valcu (17) and Adrian Izvoranu (16).
Mihail Neamtu, the president of the New Republic, is the political leader with most minutes of presence on TV (704), followed by PRM's president Corneliu Vadim Tudor (650), PNŢCD president Aurelian Pavelescu (525) then Crin Antonescu (PNL) and Victor Ponta (PSD).
Victor Ciorbea (19 presences), Ioan Ghise (15) and Sorin Rosca Stanescu (11) are PNL’s most active representatives. The 2nd most active party is PSD, through Codrin Stefanescu (14 presences), Ecaterina Andronescu (14), Catalin Ivan (13) and Liviu Pop (13).
PDL was represented by Gheorghe Ialomiteanu (12 presences), Florin Popescu and Adriana Saftoiu (10 presences each). The Conservative Party’s representatives on TV stations were Dumitru Pelican and Sergiu Andon, with 12 presences each.
